Pitti Palace

Pitti Palace Is one of the largest Renaissance palaces in Tuscany, construction started in 1458 originally the residence of a banker Pitti. It was then bought over by the Medici family and remained the seat of the ruling family of the grand Duchy of Tuscany until the 18th century. Presently used as a museum.
