Pantheon, Rome

The Pantheon was a roman temple built 609 AD, commissioned by Hadrian. The building is round with a portico of granite Corinthian columns. This leads to the rotunda with a spectacular coffered ceiling. For over two thousand years this was the biggest unsupported dome in the world.
