I am a Irish artist living and working in Belfast, producing contemporary photographic collages based on our environment. Through my work I am challenging us to see where we live in a new way. My work creates a different way of looking at what we see every day; everybody knows the Eiffel Tower or the Vatican but seldom do we actually look at the detail or beauty of our built environment. I want people to celebrate the environment we live and work in, my work is more than just tourist shots but an investigation of minute details and patterns which are extracted from what we already know but put together to reveal a hidden level of beauty.
