Belvedere Palace, Vienna

Belvedere Palace consists of two Baroque palaces, emphasising the imperial grandeur and power of the ruling Habsburg dynasty. Designed by Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt built in 1723. The palace complex along with the ornamental gardens opened fully to the public as a gallery of Austrian art in 1953.
